Admissions

Start by checking the entry requirements for your applicant type. Then follow the application steps below and contact Admissions for the current forms.

How to Apply

How you apply will depend on your current situation, whether domestic or international, and whether you are also applying for courses at other institutions.

Step 1 - Have your personal details ready

Make sure you have your personal details and education history (qualification titles, institutions and dates, passport and visa information) ready before you start your application.

Step 2 - Application form

Contact Admissions for the current TITAN International Student Application Form and instructions on completing and submitting it. You must submit a completed application by the published cut-off date for the relevant admission intake.

Step 3 - Attach Supporting Documents

You must attach certified copies of transcripts of all relevant previous studies, including proof of completion; a photo page from a passport or other birth records; evidence of English language proficiency; and any other documentation requested in the application form or by Admissions.

Step 4 - Evidence

Where qualifications have been completed under another name, evidence must be provided of the change of name. If documents are in a language other than English, an officially certified English translation of each document must be provided together with certified copies of the original documents. An applicant who is under exclusion based on academic performance or misconduct from any higher education provider, whether in Australia or elsewhere, is required to include all details of the exclusion in their application for admission.

Step 5 - Special consideration

If you’re seeking special consideration regarding any prior educational disadvantage, or reasonable adjustments regarding a disability, read the Student Disability Policy and Procedure and provide the additional information required.

Step 6 - Apply for Credit for prior studies (if applicable)

If you’re seeking credit transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for prior studies at recognised tertiary institutions, or based on informal learning, you must do so according to TITAN's Credit and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and Procedure. The granting of credit for previously achieved learning is an acknowledgement by TITAN that you have gained the knowledge, understanding and skills equivalent to the stated learning outcomes of related Courses and Units offered by TITAN.

If you wish to apply for credit transfer, you can do so when submitting your application to TITAN by requesting the current TITAN Credit Transfer Application Form from Admissions and completing the relevant section. Please note that credit will not be awarded until all prescribed administrative requirements have been satisfied by you, including submission of original or certified true copies of documentation providing evidence of satisfactory completion of the previous formal studies, along with unit outlines or prior learning on the basis of which credit is sought. Scanned documents will be accepted, but you should be prepared to provide original documents or original certified copies of required documents upon request at any time.

Applicants for readmission

If you apply for readmission, you will be assessed under the current rules applicable to the same course. If the course has been discontinued or is currently not offered, you will be offered admission to a comparable course, provided that you meet the admission requirements and that a place is available in that course.

Step 7 - Genuine Student (GS) Requirements (International Students)

Contact Admissions for the current TITAN Financial Capacity Form and Genuine Student (GS) Assessment Form, together with instructions on completing and submitting them.

You must submit a completed application, together with all required supporting documentation, by the published cut-off date for the relevant admission intake. For detailed admission requirements, please refer to the International Applicants Entry Requirements.

Assessment depends on receiving all required documents. Contact Admissions for the current processing timeframe and to check the progress of your application.

Intakes and application cut-off dates

TITAN has four intakes a year, at the start of Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4. To commence in a given intake, your complete application, with all supporting documents, must reach our admissions team by the published application cut-off date for that intake.

Application cut-off dates are set ahead of each intake. For the exact cut-off date for your intended intake, contact our admissions team or refer to the Academic Calendar.

Student Profile

To provide transparency of our admissions procedures and assist you in comparing like courses, we provide the following admissions information. The TITAN student profile displays the number of students commencing a new course in the most recent intake, and the basis of admission for each. It is provided to allow you to see your likely peer cohort at the course level.
