Academic Calendar
TITAN delivers its Master's degrees using the Block Model, an intensive, two-units-at-a-time structure delivered in study periods. Detailed, dated academic calendars for each intake are issued to enrolled students and are available from Student Services.

How the academic year works
TITAN's academic year has two semesters. Semester 1 includes Terms 1 and 2, and Semester 2 includes Terms 3 and 4. There are also two Summer School study periods that you can enrol in.
Two units of study are delivered at a time in each term, making a total of eight units across the four terms. If you’re an international student, you must maintain your approved full-time study load and complete your course within the duration stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Study periods
Each study period combines face-to-face learning and assessment, with a scheduled break before the next study period begins. Check the dated calendar for your intake to plan your study and breaks.
Intakes
TITAN offers four intakes a year, at the start of Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4. Summer Schools run before Term 1 and after Term 4. For exact start dates and application cut-off dates, see the Admission page or speak with our team.
Census dates
Each study period has a census date, the last day to withdraw from a unit without paying the full tuition for it (and, for international students, without it being recorded as an unsatisfactory attempt). The census date falls at the end of the first week of each study period.
The census date for every unit you enrol in is published in the dated academic calendar for your intake. Note it before the study period begins. For the census date of a current study period, check your enrolment or contact Student Services.
